A marketplace for change

Rabobank created an online carbon removal unit marketplace that connects large corporations (such as Microsoft) with smallholder farmers who can sequester carbon through agroforestry. In this video by the Financial Times, we find out how groups such as the Nabulu Women Group and Centre in Kenya's Laikipia County are learning to use agroforestry to improve their livelihoods, improving their farm's produce and yield while combating climate change — climate change that previously only made their lives more difficult. Find out how our carbon credit registry was created and put into place, and just how it's making the planet a better place for everyone.
