Steps to withdraw farmer participation

Any program participant (farmer) can withdraw their consent for data sharing at any time. It's the local partner's responsibility to inform the farmer of the steps to withdraw from the Acorn program, which can be found below.

Steps a farmer needs to take if they want to withdraw from the Acorn program:
  1. Contact their Local Partner.

  2. Provide written confirmation that they want to withdraw from Acorn.

Steps a Local Partner needs to take if a farmer wants to withdraw from the Acorn program:
  • Send an email to your account manager that includes:

    • The farmer ID of the farmer that wants to withdraw (this can be found in the Local Partner Portal ).

    • The farmer's address.

    • The farmer's birth year.

    • The farmer's phone and email (if applicable).

    • Written confirmation from the farmer telling Acorn that they want to withdraw consent.
